Cardinal Farms Mini-Nubian Goat Program

Our Mini-Nubian program began in 2019 with a foundation herd of purebred Mini-Nubians purchased from Genoa Meadows Farm in Howell, MI. Known for their strong genetics and excellent health, we felt grateful to have these excellent goats to begin our program. Since that time, we’ve continued to maintain purebred lines, adding in some genetics to make for an even stronger homestead and breeding stock Mini-Nubian. Our goats are dam-raised and handled from birth and tend to be very friendly. They graze on fresh pasture from May through October and quality stored forage in the winter months. We pride ourselves on maintaining a small, healthy herd that can be readily observed and managed with as little medicinal intervention as possible. Our existing herd is all registered with MDGA and all kids are able to be registered. Whether you are looking for a dairy goat for your homestead or breeding stock for your own program, we encourage you to consider a goat raised with love and care here at Cardinal Farms.

Note on spring 2026 kidding: due to our move to Dexter this year, we did not do full-scale breeding in fall 2025 so we will have limited availability of kids this year. But please feel free to reach out to us to be placed on our waiting list for spring 2027 kids!

Flashy herdsire in training! Born March 20th, Eddie is a purebred mini-nubian with some beautiful moonshots and very friendly personality. He is one of triplets born to a to our top foundation doe out of Genoa Meadows. His sire is our top foundation buck, Genoa Meadows Moses. Timothy is disbudded and would be a great addition to a herd looking to add some excellent genetics. Parents are registered with MDGA and he will be registered as well at time of sale.
